Olaf Auers Philosophy:

„You have to be able to read a guests mind to know his wishes“.  For every wedding an individual menu is created which will never be created again and only served on this special day therefore it cannot be tasted in advance and can never be ordered again at another visit to the Cobenzl Castle. Cobenzl also offers a magnificent ambience for birthday parties, seminars and conferences.

His own initiative :

During a walk around the castle premises the host can tell you a piece of history for everything that you see. Such as in the Bartheke (the bar), an old electrical pylon, the gorgeous ornate wrought iron garden door with its 158 gold leaf stars and the windows in the winter garden which were recuperated from a century old building which had been demolished. In the in-house carpenter’s and locksmith’s workshop a large part of the furnishings and fixtures were manufactured for the castle. Several weddings a year take place in the castles restaurant and marble stateroom which are an exact replica of the original rooms of the castle.
