Chairman "Kommerzialrat" Olaf Auer,

Olaf Auer, the proprietor of Schloss Cobenzl, was born in Salzburg and one could say laid in a gastronomic cradle at birth. His grandmother managed the Hotel “Österreichischer Hof”, in Salzburg,  which is now the “Hotel Sacher”.

The first part of his adult life was devoted to flying until he put aside his joy stick and opened a couple of Viennese venues.
